For the Christian woman who is ready to take her faith and life to the next level
At any stage in your spiritual growth, you can hit a point where you need inspiration, input, ideas, guidance, and accountability that just aren’t coming on their own. You’re looking at all the different Bible studies, prayer materials, sermons, and other spiritual disciplines, and you’re wondering what on earth you’ve gotten yourself into.
You feel overwhelmed and frustrated.
You feel stuck in a rut but aren't sure how to change that. You're tired of feeling unfulfilled and disconnected from your purpose and dreams. You just want to live a life you enjoy and move past all the bad stuff.
You got the vision, but you’re having a hard time following through. Stuck. Mired down in the middle of everyday life and hard times. Will you accomplish your goals? A Bible reading plan would help, but you still actually have to read the Word. It would be nice to talk through what you are learning about —someone you can bounce ideas off of, to share your struggles with. For now, your friends listen when they can but they have their own troubles and concerns.
Or you’re trying to organize your prayer life and stick with a plan to reach your spiritual goals. You’re set on learning new disciplines and growing closer to God, but you keep second-guessing yourself and getting sidetracked. You’d like to know if you're on the right path. And you could use accountability, but who’s going to hold you to it?
You’re trying all the "right" things—asking Google for solutions—about everything from choosing the best Bible translation to learning how to pray like a warrior, but you’re turning up a sea of ideas and recommendations, unsure what applies to your particular situation in your particular season of life.
If you keep going down this path, you’ll find answers. Eventually. Or you could take a smarter, more efficient path, with a friend to guide you.
The School of Hard Knocks
10 years ago, I felt stuck.
I had spent years at a church that didn’t really feel like home. I spent a few more years trying to find a place where I could feel comfortable. Just when I thought I’d found that place I realized that I was in serious danger.
You see, Satan was waiting for me in the pews of that church. He served in ministry. Knew all the right words and had all the right people vouching for him. No one even batted an eye when I married him less than 3 months after meeting him.
It would prove to be the most difficult time in my life to date. There were times when I was sure that I was going to either die or go crazy.
I didn’t know who to trust. And it seemed like everywhere I turned for help I got a door slammed in my face. I was desperate. I needed some hope and help and support. I didn’t know where to turn.
Finally, in a moment of despair, I cried out to God for help and answers. He didn’t answer immediately as I had hoped. But over the course of a year, He walked with me as I learned to heal, stand up for myself, and begin to trust again.
Even in my darkest moments God never abandoned me. He was there every step of the way. Showing me who He was and how much He cared for me.
It was the hardest season of my life but it was also a season where I grew the most spiritually. I learned how to study my Bible and how to pray my way to victory. As a result, my relationship with God is deeper than ever, and my faith has become unshakable.
I know exactly what it’s like to feel like there’s no hope in your situation. To know that there’s more to life than simply surviving crisis after crisis but not knowing how to get out of the cycle. To know without a doubt that the answer to all your problems is God but feeling like you just don’t have time for Him.
Looking back, I can see how working with a coach at the beginning of my struggles would have eased my mind and given me valuable input and clarity. That person could have addressed why I wasn't feeling connected to God or anyone else. Why I didn't feel like I had enough time to pray or read the Word. And why, when I had all my ducks in a row I was still slacking when it came to my faith and life.
I would have gained confidence and grown much faster with the support of a life coach. This is a huge reason why I became a Certified Life Breakthrough Coach through Life Breakthrough Academy in 2014. And why I am continuing my education and training (including ICF certification) with the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
A Better Way ...
Having endured a lot of heartache and pain in the recent years of my spiritual growth—and having the privilege of encouraging and helping so many other Christian women in recent years—I urge you to avoid floundering around, trying to figure things out on your own.
Invite a coach into your life and faith walk.
As Christian women, we need people to invest in us, and that’s what a spiritual growth coach does. A coach will offer you knowledge and insights, a customized plan for your goals, and accountability when you set a schedule. A coach can help you identify and eliminate obstacles to your spiritual growth and living a life you love!
Wouldn’t you love to move forward in your walk with God and life with more confidence, with your questions answered, with a concrete plan that builds in accountability?
You can have that life and faith walk. A small group can offer some of that, though everyone else in the group comes with their own goals and needs, as well. Listening to podcasts and reading blog posts can help provide input, though not necessarily specific to your needs on any given day. Hiring a coach will focus on you.
I would love to be your coach.
Investing in other women has become my passion. As your Christian life and spiritual growth coach, I will work with you to identify and clear hurdles so you can move forward with confidence. No matter where you’re at in your faith journey, I can come alongside you as your personal coach, working one-on-one to help you make significant progress.
Are you ready to:
Be consistent with daily quiet times
Confidently study your Bible and connect with God through prayer
Stop believing the lies of the enemy
Get to know God on a more intimate level
See God at work in even the most difficult situations
Hear clearly from God on His plan for your life
Overcome shame, fear, and doubt
Look forward to the future instead of dreading tomorrow
If so, you’re ready to invest in your life, spiritual growth, and mindset.
I understand all those struggles either from personal experience or from walking clients through them. Committed to your success, I coach you to overcome them, addressing each challenge, supplying you with strategies and systems, offering professional input, and accompanying you on this otherwise solitary journey.
